Japanese woman artist Yayoi Kusama has collaborated with Louis Vuitton to create a healthy mix of art and fashion in a ‘refreshingly fashionable display of colour and quirky dotted patterns’, named Infinitely Kusama. This collection includes dresses, jumpsuits coats, purses, watches, jewellery, shoes and feature Kusama’s repetitive theme of a playful polka dot pattern.
Marc Jacobs worked with the Japanese artist on the range, which hits Louis Vuitton boutiques this July. The debut of the collection named ‘infinitely kusama’ will be available starting july 10th, 2012 two days prior to the opening of the artist’s retrospective at new york’s whitney museum.
